CVB MISSION

Increase business for the lodging, hospitality, and tourism industry in the Beaufort and Port Royal area by increasing the number of visitors who stay overnight and eat in our restaurants.

MEMBERSHIP

All businesses which pay accommodations tax (ATAX) or hospitality tax (HTAX) in Northern Beaufort County are basic members of the CVB. As such these businesses receive a listing on our web site with business name, address and phone number. Any business which has an interest in supporting our mission is eligible to increase their exposure on our web site and in our marketing materials through advertising opportunities.

ADVERTISER BENEFITS

Online

  • Your listing will be upgraded to include your logo, business description or information, web address, and email.
  • Online advertisements for your business or event will run in rotation throughout the CVB website and on the downloadable maps.
  • Your event listings which relate to our mission will be included on our online calendar of events.
  • You have the ability to post online discount or travel packages.

Leads

  • As an advertiser you will receive access to qualified group leads or group events such as tours, weddings, family reunions, and business meetings.
  • You be given direct business referrals based on visitors’ requests for specific information.
  • The CVB identifies key travel and tourism trade shows to attend. You have the opportunity to work and/or display materials in the CVB booth at these trade shows.

Networking and Marketing

  • Advertisers have the opportunity to include events and promotions in newsletters sent to our opt-in email list.
  • Advertisers will receive our member newsletter which keeps members informed of local opportunities and events.
  • Collateral and Cooperative Advertising Opportunities
  • The CVB will offer collateral and cooperative advertising opportunities to its members throughout the year. These offerings give you an affordable chance to promote your business on the web and in print.
  • The CVB posts maps of our area attractions in highly visible locations. Our advertisers have the opportunity to advertise around these maps.
  • Advertisers will be listed in our Visitors Guide.

Events

  • The CVB will conduct several events and establish annual festivals to promote the Beaufort – Port Royal area. As an advertiser, your business will have special pricing for sponsorship of these events and enhanced exposure during these events.
